Communications Amplifier
The Model 300 Communications Amplifier can be used with a headset in
three different ways. It can be used as a booster amplifier on an existing
intercom system. Two Model #300 amplifiers can be connected together
through the 3 pin XLR female jack on the bottom of the units to use as a
complete, isolated, independent intercom system. It can also be used on a
telephone line with a headset or a lapel microphone and earphone for
double enders. Standard and mini jacks are located on the bottom of the
unit for additional output for IFB.
This advanced communications amplifier is most versatile for both IFB and ENG field operations. It operates similar to the Model 300 but with more features. It can be used on a standard telephone line, a satellite phone or IFB feeds, from a remote truck. The unit is used with a low impedance headset or a lapel mic and earphone. Features include two independent output channels, one for the headset output, the other for the IFB output with 1/4" and 1/8" jacks. This box also has a line input on the side to send audio on a telephone line from a mixer or tape recorder. The unit also features a open microphone switch in addition to the momentary push to talk and dial switch. The dialer has a memory to hold 25 telephone numbers up to 30 digits long, low battery light with a low audible beep in three minute intervals through the ear phone, a defeatable ringer and a light to signal incoming calls, an external power jack for a regulated AC adaptor, a battery drawer for quick and easy battery changes and an additional RJ-11 input, for telephone. The XLR on this model is for all other audio input, wet or dry feeds. A 25' telephone cord is included.

NEW Part#445 Model #344 4 CHANNEL IFB COMMUNICATION AMPLIFIER |
|
| This high quality rugged amplifier is just the thing for,
in the field, multi input IFB for live interviews to different locations via
telephone line, cell phone or other input sources. The dialer on the box has
the ability to store 25 telephone numbers for speed dialing. Each channel
can be set up, volume adjusted, and put on hold. When the talent needs IFB
for the first presentation, the IFB switch for that channel is switched on.
Channel 2,3, and 4 are set up as needed while channel 1 IFB is going to the
talent. When talent is done with channel 1, you can switch to channel 2 for
the next and so on. Then set up channel 1 again and put back on hold for the
next round. Channel 2,3, and 4 in the same manner. There are three indicator
lights. Green when the line is turned on, yellow for incoming calls with a defeatable ringer,
and red when switch is turned on for IFB to talent. The
red button is for push to talk, listen and dial on the phone line. If IFB
switch is on at the time the audio engineer can communicate with talent
also. This box also has 2 outputs with volume controls, one XLR-3 pin male
and the other a 1/8" and a 1/4" jack. The IFB output can go direct to the
talent, or if up to 5 people need IFB audio, our DA-5 distribution amplifier
along with our Model #600, #605, #900 or #905 for belt pack will give each
talent individual control of his or her volume. The #905 Amplifier has a
loop through XLR-3 jacks, eliminating the need for the DA-5. The box can be
powered by 2- 9volt batteries, which are easily replaced in the battery
drawer, or a 9 volt regulated AC external adaptor, our part #501.The headset
output uses a headset with a 4 pin XLR male plug, 300 ohm for listening, 150
ohm microphone. We have two types of headsets, a light weight, our part #950
or our double muff part #947.
